Nassim Taleb and Russ Roberts speak in Brooklyn

On Wednesday, the 28th of November, Nassim Taleb and Russ Roberts will engage in conversation about the topic of Nassim Taleb's new book, Antifragile: Things That Gain From Disorder


Nassim Taleb is a vocal critic of mainstream practices in finance and economics. He is the author of the 2007 book The Black Swan as well as many other articles, books and essays.

Dr. Roberts is an economist known for hosting the popular podcast Econtalk. He was also the the economic mind behind the Fear the Boom and Bust video as well as Fight of the Century: Keynes vs Hayek Round Two.

Ed Clark achieved running under the Libertarian

City-Wide Anti 'Stop and Frisk' Day


Columbia University Libertarians will be working with Columbia's chapter of Students for Sensible Drug policy. The event will feature a speaker from Drug Policy Alliance and will include discussion of Stop and Frisk, Constitutional rights, and how to respond if an officer wants to perform a search without probable cause.

Other schools and organizations in New York City and the tri-state area will be doing similar events that day as well!
